Tap a sale pin, open the detail page, and tap Check In when you're within 500 feet. You'll earn +3 points.
What is the route planner?
Tap pins on the map or add sales from the list, then tap the Route button to get an optimized driving route. Opens in Google Maps or Apple Maps.
How do I earn points?
Check in at sales (+3), report signs (+2), post a sale (+5), leave a thumbs up (+1). Points unlock levels and badges.
What are badges?
Badges are earned by reaching milestones like your first check-in, hitting 100 points, or reaching the top of the leaderboard.
How do notifications work?
Enable notifications in your profile to get alerted when new sales are posted within your chosen radius (5–50 miles).
How do I post a sale?
Tap the Add button in the bottom nav and select Post a Sale. Fill in 6 simple steps — type, address, dates, description, photos, and review. Your sale appears on the map instantly.
How much does it cost?
Posting a sale is completely free. EarlyBirdit is free for everyone.
Can I edit my sale after posting?
Yes! Go to My Sales in your profile and tap Edit on any listing. You can change the address, dates, description, and photos anytime.
How do I track my sale's performance?
Your seller dashboard shows total views, check-ins, and likes for each listing.
What happens when my sale ends?
Your listing is automatically removed from the map after your end date so the map stays clean and current.
Do I earn points as a seller?
Yes! You earn +5 points for posting a sale and +1 point every time someone checks in at your sale.
What is sign reporting?
If you spot a garage sale sign while driving, you can take a photo and report it. EarlyBirdit adds it to the map as a community-reported sale.
How do I report a sign?
Tap the Add button in the bottom nav. Take a photo of the sign — your GPS location is captured automatically.
What points do I earn?
You earn +2 points immediately when you report a sign, and +3 bonus points when someone checks in at that sale.
What happens to my report?
It appears on the map as a community-reported sale (grey pin) so other hunters can find it.
How do I earn points?

What are the level thresholds?
Newcomer (0) → Scout (25) → Deal Hunter (75) → Bargain Pro (150) → Sale Chaser (300) → Local Legend (600) → EarlyBirdit Elite (1,000)
What do I unlock at each level?
Each level unlocks a new badge on your profile. Local Legend earns you a shout-out in the community activity ticker. EarlyBirdit Elite gets you a gold username and crown on the all-time leaderboard.
What is the Weekly Leaderboard Reward?
Every Monday the top 3 earners from the previous week receive a bonus points multiplier for the upcoming weekend. #1 earns 2×, #2 earns 1.5×, and #3 earns 1.25× points on every action that Saturday and Sunday.
How do I see my rank?
Tap Leaderboard in the bottom nav. Switch between Weekly, Monthly, and All-Time tabs. Your personal rank card appears at the top when you're in the list.
